We would rather hear that a post is wrong than not hear it.

Short answer: corrections, topic requests and disagreements all go to editors@digital-asset-management-dam.com. That address reaches the editorial desk rather than an individual writer. We do not publish a phone number, a postal address or personal contact details for the writers, deliberately. Everything below is what happens after you send something.

Corrections

The most useful thing you can send.

If a post states something incorrect, cites a source that does not support the claim, or describes behaviour that has since changed, tell us. Include the post and the specific sentence if you can, and a source if you have one.

What happens next:

• Factual errors are fixed in place and the post notes what changed.
• Unsupported claims are removed rather than softened.
• Changed product behaviour is updated. This field moves quickly and a guide describing last year's behaviour is a liability.
• We do not quietly edit and pretend nothing happened.

Corrections from people who disagree with a post's conclusion still count, and they get the same treatment as anyone else's.

Topic requests

If there is a question you keep having to answer for colleagues, it is probably a post. Send it.

We are most interested in the specific version of the question, the one somebody actually types, rather than a general subject area. We do not take commissioned posts or sponsored placements, so a request is a suggestion rather than an order, and plenty of them do not get written.

Disagreement

Welcome, and more useful when it is specific.

The site argues a position, set out on editorial standards. If you think it is wrong, or wrong in your case, the strongest version of that argument is worth having and may end up in a post, credited if you want it to be. Pointing at a specific claim beats pointing at a tendency.

Vendors

If you work on a product covered here and something is described inaccurately, send the correction and the documentation link. We will fix it.

We do not accept payment for coverage, placement or links, and we do not run sponsored posts. A briefing is fine and buys nothing. Please do not send embargoed material, since we cannot commit to an embargo we did not agree to.

What we do not publish

• Personal contact details for the writers. Their beats and bios are on the authors page; their inboxes are not public.
• A phone number or postal address. This is a publication, not a support desk.
• Reader submissions as posts. Everything here is written by the roster.

Response

We read everything and reply to corrections. Topic requests and general notes may not get an individual reply, which is not a judgement on the note.
